Why is the rent so cheap, there must be a catch?

As Citadel Estates owns all their properties there is therefore no middle man fee and the saving is passed on to the tenant.


How long are your Tenancies for?

Our tenancies are for an initial 12 month period.


Would I be able have a shorter Tenancy term?

The minimum tenancy is 12 months period.


If I was to take a 12 month tenancy could I leave half way through the term?

Under the terms and conditions of the tenancy agreement tenants are committed for the full fixed term. The tenancy can not be terminated early.


Why is the application process stringent?

Citadel Estates take their responsibilities seriously and are very selective of tenants. All tenants go through the same application procedure to ensure they are to the same high standard.


Am I able to apply for a property if I am not in current employment?

Citadel Estates would look at your application if you have another income that you can provide us with details of i.e. pension.


How is the Rent paid?

The rent is paid monthly on the 1st of each month by standing order. This is set up at the commencement of the tenancy.


What other outgoings do I have?

You are responsible for gas, electricity, water and Council Tax. We would recommend you also arrange consents insurance and property liability.


Am I responsible for buildings Insurance?

Citadel Estates insure the buildings.


What is the banding for Council Tax?

All Citadel Estates properties are in band A. The charge for year 2008/2009 is £983.15
